This poor dog rescued by Dallas Dog - Rescue.Rehab.Reform:
"Meet AMORA! Two years ago, we were literally stopped in our tracks and our jaws dropped in despair when we saw Amora. In all of our experience, we had never seen a dog so depleted, and so close to losing her slow battle of literally having the life sucked out of her.
Maggots had joined the countless ticks feeding off of her and was absolutely heartbreaking. She never stopped fighting and was so sweet and accepting of the help she knew she was getting to keep her alive. If we had a top ten of saves, no doubt Amora would be on that list.
Today, she continues living her best life in a great home with a tremendous family, including her four-legged best friends. To imagine how far she's come is truly incredible and provides us inspiration each and every day. She didn't give up, and neither did we. Ever. Thank you for HELPING US, HELP ANIMALS, overcome their yesterdays and rewrite their tomorrows"
