In this video our product owner Souzana explains, how the REST Custom v2 sensor works. She shows the configuration process of the sensor using Gitlab API as an example.
The REST Custom v2 sensor monitors the results of a JSON REST API call and maps the JSON result to sensor values. This sensor will be the successor to the existing REST Custom sensor.
We are looking forward to your feedback. As always with our Experimental sensors, the REST Custom v2 sensor will change to "New" status in 2 or 3 releases depending on your feedback, and will then also be available for PRTG installations where the Experimental features are not enabled.
To use this sensor, enable the Beta Sensors experimental feature of PRTG. For more information, see the Knowledge Base (https://kb.paessler.com/en/topic/88697-what-are-beta-sensors-and-how-can-i-use-them)
