Queen
Live at the Orpheum Theater
Boston, Massachusetts, USA
February 15th, 1975 (Second Show)
Audience Recording (Ronnie Farnsworth)
Sound Quality: B
Attendance: 2,750
This tape, which was recently discovered, is the earliest known recording from this leg of the tour. The taper recorded it onto a C60 cassette, so the recording cuts out during Liar, but what is captured is a raw, hungry band during their first stop in Boston on tour. They had tried to perform here on the previous tour in 1974, but due to complications the shows were cancelled. This is the second of two shows on this day, with the first show taking place at 7:30. The sound quality is fairly decent, and about the same as the other recordings from this tour. The performance is quite unique in a few spots and I definitely think people will notice a few key moments, particularly from John Deacon. Thanks to the taper for generously sharing his recording with Kikushi, and to Gregsynthbootlegs for the transfer.
