A total RM10 billion cash aid will be disbursed in the second half of the year under the government's Pakej Perlindungan Rakyat dan Pemulihan Ekonomi (Pemulih).
Finance Minister Tengku Datuk Seri Zafrul Abdul Aziz said the aid would be delivered under Bantuan Prihatin Rakyat (BPR), Covid-19 special aid (BKC) and Bantuan Kehilangan Pendapatan.
He said BPR would see cash aid of between RM450 and RM2,300 distributed to 8.4 million recipients under the B40 category.
