Our apple trees in the orchard are now two years old and they're establishing into good, strong trees. This year, most of our varieties have blossomed and are trying to deliver vast amounts of fruit. In order not to overburden the trees from a nutritional perspective and to not place too much strain on their young branches, we're thinning out the apples. This means we'll have less apples to enjoy this year, but we're allowing our trees to establish so that they can deliver vast amounts of healthy fruit in the years ahead.
