The newly appointed education minister of Afghanistan has questioned the relevance of higher education. Sheikh Molvi Noorullah Munir has reportedly said that PhD and master's degrees are not valuable. The clip has gone viral and emerged shortly after the Taliban announced its interim Afghan cabinet. Munir is part of a 33-member cabinet led by Afghanistan’s interim PM, Mullah Mohammad Hasan Akhund.
