We take God’s mercy and patience for granted. We live our lives thinking the air we breath, the colours we see, the feeling in our hands are a default. Not understanding God could make the oxygen you’ve breathed your entire life unable to enter your body. God could make every step you took closer to your grave but still you’re alive and able to walk towards Him. God could have your eyes melt in their socket and your tongue shrivel up in your mouths but you’re able to see His wonders and His creation day by day, you’re able to call out to Him in repentance still to this day.
Yet many of us take it for granted and feel entitled to His blessings of kindness, grace, tolerance and patience. These blessings are so that we may fall before Him in repentance and understand the Love He has had for us from the beginning of time. But the more we take Him for granted, the more wrath you store for yourself for the day of God’s wrath.
Chose to repent today and thank Him for EVERYTHING He has blessed us with without us even knowing and understanding how incredible His grace and mercy is. We forget the earth is literally floating in nothing, someone’s holding every star in place, someone’s holding your life from eternal damnation. Thank You Holy Spirit for your Word! For your teaching!
