"In front of our screens, zoom meetings, and emails, we can only assume the person’s situation. What we experience clearly is different from what others are experiencing and we tend to forget about trying to understand the situation of people around us, may they be at work or socially.
With this artwork, I was hoping to spark a little empathy from the hearts of the audience. For me, the more they stick to the artwork and explore its virtual world, the more empathy they can give to the characters; and hoping that this empathy will transcend to the people they meet, talk and interact with. " - Yolec Homecillo
