Boris Johnson is reportedly meeting cabinet ministers later this week to discuss suspending parts of the Northern Ireland Protocol. If they decide to do so, the EU will have to respond robustly and quickly. There are some in the EU calling for the trade and co-operation agreement to be scrapped in its entirety in order to send the strongest possible message against Johnson's political vandalism.
