The Fabulous Forest Ear - Planet Fungi Finds with Stephen Axford

In 2019 the east coast of Australia experienced one of the worst droughts in living memory. However when the dry started to come to an end, Stephen Axford and Catherine Marciniak discovered the first rainstorm was enough for the fabulous "ear of the forest" to fruit.

This species of fungus is as an edible mushroom in many parts of the world.
