British Christmas Dinner | Roast Turkey and all the Trimmings

This is how to make a relatively stress-free British Christmas dinner. Many people are anxious about making a roast turkey Christmas dinner with all the trimmings. There are several reasons for this - you might be feeding a large number of people, you probably only cook a huge roast turkey once a year so you don't get much practice. There are two things you can do to make the Christmas feast easier. Firstly, do all of your prep in advance, ideally the day before but no later than 90 minutes before the finish time. And secondly, don't attempt to do too much. The dinner I'm making in this video has 11 elements - turkey stock, whole roast turkey, sausagemeat cranberry sage and onion stuffing, pigs in blankets, roast potatoes, mashed potatoes, honey-glazed carrots, roast parsnips, pan-fried sprouts, cranberry sauce, turkey gravy.
