Turkey's Killer Mini Subs To Check Russia In Black Sea l Ukraine, Philippines Among Potential Buyers

Turkey is developing mini attack submarines to operate in its surrounding seas and for sale in global arms markets. The submarines would be primarily used in littoral operations due to its smaller magnetic and acoustic signatures. However, Turkey’s mini submarines will have less range than their larger Western counterparts. Turkey’s mini sub program will be useful in counterbalancing Russia in the Black Sea.
