Belizean educators are getting a chance to broaden their horizons by working in the United States under the recruitment of the Participate Learning Program. This is a comprehensive program that facilitates teacher exchanges for Belizean educators to teach in the U.S. The program is geared at providing teachers with the opportunity to diversify their teaching backgrounds, acquire new skills to improve their way of teaching and tackle the challenges they face. Stephen Diaz, one of the program’s participants says it is also an effective way to learn about different cultures.
