India’s drug regulator has approved the three-dose Covid-19 DNA vaccine made by Zydus Cadila on August 20. ZyCoV-D is the world's first plasmid DNA vaccine against the coronavirus. The DNA vaccine ZyCoV-D is approved for emergency use in adults and children aged 12 years and above. After getting the approval, PM Narendra Modi and Union Health Minister Mansukh Mandaviya lauded the company.
