Frankie has been living on the streets his entire life while being eating from the inside out from TVT cancer. With large and unsightly tumors riddled upon his skin, no one would take pity on this loving soul. This sweet pup sat feeling eyes on him every day, passerby’s who only gave him a look of rejection and disgust, never thinking that maybe he could have just used a helping hand.
Rescuers in Tijuana took Frankie to the local vet, where everyone hoped he would finally get the help he needed, but instead he was met with the same neglect. The doctor turned him away, saying there was no hope for him at all and rescuers should just put him down. Of course, rescuers could have never accepted that, especially without even giving him a chance. So the people working with this precious pup called upon rescuers at The Animal Pad Rescue for extra help and rescuers there didn’t even hesitate to drive across the border and pick this special dog up to take him into their care. Directly from Mexico, they took him to the emergency room to ensure he wasn’t suffering from chronic pain before he could receive his first chemo treatment. The team reported that he is the sweetest boy they have ever met, all he wants is to lay his head on the laps of rescuers and give licks filled with thankfulness.
Currently, Frankie is resting after receiving his first round of chemo and the team has reported he is already feeling a world better. With more energy and hope, this big mass of love is only getting more and more healthy. Rescuers plan to continue his treatments and ensure his future is bright and never involves neglect again.
